take a break from block work and finish fitting
the red window trims. |

the block work
is completed. The six sections between the columns in
the front of the photo will be enclosed and give us a
workshop area of 63 m2. The last two sections will be
a weatherproofed dog kennel for the wet winter
days. |

we install the
woodstove. The Kemlan stove burns very clean with low
emissions. On the right the chimney smokes after we have
added new logs to the fire. After a few minutes
the logs are well alight and smoke is no longer visible.
We have bought the first firewood. We have two acres of
forest on our property with lots of fallen trees. In the
future we will cut our own firewood.

the
concrete pump truck, the concreter and two concrete
trucks arrive at seven o'clock in
the morning and it is still pitch black dark. At nine
o'clock ten cubic metres of concrete
have been poured! |
