The house takes shape

February 14th 2005:

We use chipboard flooring. It's supposed to withstand three months exposure to the weather. We paint it with waterproofing paint, just in case the roof won't be up in three months time!

February 20th 2005:

The weather stays warm and sunny and work on the five metre high front section starts.

February 26th 2005:

We are building the second floor! Klaas is not afraid of heights and lends a helping hand. He is looking out of the bedroom window.

This foto shows the loft joists above the window lintels. The lofts have a standing height of 1900mm at their highest point.
